Doubtful Student

Designing a poster for "doubtful students" in Rietveld academy was the result of research about propaganda and its effects on making a group of people united and powerful. It plays with the concept of "doubtful", one of the three grades given in Rietveld academy evaluations (insufficient, doubtful, sufficient). The poster is a free adaptation of a poster from the Sovieta era which portrayed a woman standing in front of a factory and holding a red flag. In my version, the Rietveld student holds up the flag of the "doubtful" as a statement, and stands in front of the academy's famous building.
