I Was There

“I was there” is an installation about a text that I have written. For the generation who grow up in the 80s in Iran, the heavy influence of childhood is not just a personal issue, but a collective memory that they carry with themselves to all places. This project is about the clash between the collective memory and the outside world. Where are the borders of these memories with those of the same generation that grew up elsewhere? Chocolates, suitcases and a popular orange mouse are examples of a shared area inside and outside of Iran ... in the Iranian childhood of the 80s.
